Columns

June 1991

Although the column had now switched to appearances every other month (I presume this was a decision not communicated to the Mad Hatter much in advance, as he once again signs off with a reference to next month), the Micro User made up for it with some lovely use of colour (check that bowtie) and several pages of code, proper old-school magazine style.

March 1991

More of note this month – the return of Elite, plus the excitement of another dodgy scan. There’s also a mention of Electron User having merged with The Micro User, so obviously publishing for the Acorn platforms was struggling. More on that in a month or two. Finally, a dig at PCs as ‘crummy old computers’ – presumably their increasing popularity was harming the Acorn market.
